"Payment worked, but the confirmation lagged"
My payment did go through fine, but the confirmation took a little longer to show up than I expected. Maybe it was just processing in the background, but when you’re sitting there after checkout waiting to know everything worked, it feels a bit annoying. Not a huge problem, just something I noticed.

My order was riiight for the most part, but one cable was missing from the package. Not a huge deal, but still a little frustrating since everything else was correct.

"Shipping, customs, and support were such a hassle"
I paid the customs fees and still ended up waiting way longer than expected for my order to show up. The most frustrating part was trying to get help, support kept sending me in circles with the same generic replies, and I never felt like anyone was actually looking into it. The whole shipping and customs process was just a headache.

I found what I needed fast, and nothing felt confusing or overcomplicated. If you’re just trying to get in, find the right thing, and move on, I’d say this is a solid option.

I’ve gotta say, the products themselves work well!!! No real complaints there. But for tools this powerful, I expected a lot more guidance around ethical use!!! The info they provided felt thin, honestly. Support was okay too, not bad, just nothing amazing!!!

"Good gear, accessories make life easier"
Not gonna lie, I grabbed a few Hak5 pieces and the accessories ended up making the whole setup way smoother than I expected. The cases, cables, antennas, battery stuff, all of it just fits and works without me having to dig around Amazon for random parts.
I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because some things go out of stock, and shipping can feel a little high when you’re just adding a small extra item. Still, overall it’s a solid setup and I’m happy with it

The return process was easy overall. I just packed the item back up, used the return label, and dropped it off without any hassle. The refund did take a little longer than I expected, maybe a few extra days, but it did come through in the end.

I spent a bit more time than I expected getting it set up, mostly just figuring out the steps and double-checking everything. It wasn’t a huge hassle, just not as quick as I thought it would be. Once I finally got through that part, the device itself worked fine and has been doing what I need it to

It’s easy enough to figure out overall, but something about it feels a little cluttered. The menus work, but they feel kind of messy and not as smooth to navigate as I’d like.

i mean, ordering from hak5.org was easy and checkout went fine, but the shipping felt slower than I expected. It took a while before the tracking actually started moving, which was a little frustrating. The package did show up in good condition, so no complaints there. I just wish the delivery timing had been a bit faster or at least clearer upfront. Overall, not terrible, but not amazing either.

"Frustrating Firmware Update Experience"
The firmware updates have been really frustrating for me. Every time I flash it, something seems to break, and I end up wasting hours trying to fix things that were working before. It’s exhausting, and I’m disappointed with the whole experience

"Cool gear, but I assumed it’d be easier for beginners"
hak5 makes some really interesting tools, and you can tell the gear is solid. I guess I assumed it would be a bit more beginner-friendly out of the box, but you definitely need to be comfortable with networking and Linux to get the most out of it. The docs pointed me in the right direction sometimes, but I still found myself Googling a lot and piecing things together. Not a bad experience at all, just more of a learning curve than I expected.

I did finally get the device working, but wow, the journey there was more dramatic than I expected. The software support on my laptop felt messy, a few tools just refused to cooperate, and the documentation seemed like it had been left behind in another era. They explained everything clearly and fixed the issue without turning it into a whole complicated thing. Just going off my gut, they seem like a team that actually cares. I’m happy with how it went.

"Works Fine, Setup Was a Bit of a Hassle"
Got my order and tried setting it up. It wasn’t awful or anything, but it wasn’t as simple as they make it seem. I had to poke around for a few answers, which was kind of annoying and definitely ate up more time than I planned. It’s working fine now, so I can’t complain too much, but the setup instructions could’ve been better.

"Good device, just wish I’d waited for a deal"
I picked up a WiFi Pineapple from Hak5, it’s been solid so far. The build quality feels really good, the packaging was fine, and it worked right out of the box without any weird setup issues. I’ve only used it for a few small tests, but it’s done exactly what I needed it to do. My only regret is paying full price, since it does feel a bit expensive for what it is. Quality-wise I’m happy with it, I just wish I’d caught it on sale.
